I’m a Los Angeles based graphic designer, sign painter, and illustrator.
When I’m not designing or collecting inspiration for Olive Juice, I’m thrifting in the valley, biking around the neighborhood with my partner, Matt, or baking (current cake obsession: banana layers, cream cheese frosting, and caramelized Corn Flakes on top).
I love all things nostalgic & retro (I still play my Super Nintendo). My work is largely inspired by 20th century ephemera: matchbooks, menus, Valentines, train tickets, etc. I’m all about niche, kitsch & camp—executed with authenticity & sophistication.
As an artist and water sign, I absolutely love weddings. I love celebrating love in all ways, big and small—and I especially love attention to detail. My approach to design focuses on the tangible ways that we can encapsulate the world in which your love story takes place.
As a designer, my clients have largely been focused in the music industry: logos, show posters, album covers & merch are what I specialized in for 8+ years.
In January of 2024, I got an inquiry for design work, but it wasn’t my typical bread and butter—it was for a wedding. An amazing client with a summer camp themed wedding trusted me with an invitation suite, sticker & sweatshirt designs, & vintage-inspired felt scout badges. It was an incredibly rewarding project because I felt like I fully understood her fairly niche vision—she wanted to create a world for her wedding to live in, and that was right up my alley.
After that project, more custom wedding inquiries started to trickle in, but I was already convinced that this was what I wanted to do full time; Olive Juice was born. I set out to create a custom & semi-custom stationery brand that caters to nearlyweds with a unique vision. As someone who designed her own Motel-themed wedding, I knew from experience it was a challenge to find wedding vendors that understood I wanted something different—I wanted my wedding to be steeped in kitsch, cinema, and above all else, nostalgia.
